A woman has been arrested in connection with the murder of Carole Waugh, the London oil executive who was killed by a stab wound.
Yesterday, 40-year-old Rakesh Bhayani from Wembley was arrested on suspicion of her murder, while police have now moved to detain a 61-year-old female over possible fraud.
Ms Waugh was found in a blue VW Golf at a garage in New Malden on August 2nd and she had been dead 'for some time', police confirmed.
Four days later, Nicholas David Kutner appeared in court to face an allegation that he fraudulently attempted to enter Ms Waugh's flat and he faces another hearing on Monday.
He is due to answer allegations of murder and kidnap, while he will also face two charges that relate to renting the victim's flat and another of pretending to be her brother, Chris Waugh.
He has been bailed and is due to return to court on August 25th.
In total, 11 people have now been arrested in connection with the oil executive's death, with the latest detained on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud.
Ms Waugh, who was originally from Durham, was reported missing by her family in May - and they last saw her a month earlier than that.
